PUPPIES AND OLDER DOGS
The Whippet and Greyhound Club of South Australia supports and promotes pure bred and pedigree Whippet's and Greyhound's bred by registered Dogs Australia breeders.
We recommend all prospective Whippet or Greyhound owners to contact registered breeders through Dogzonline's Pure Bred Community Breed pages. Whippet and Greyhound puppies and older dogs are advertised through this site and are able to be located at the following links.

Older Greyhounds may also be available through Greyhounds As Pets (formerly Greyhound Adoption Program)
Please note that DACO registration numbers alone are not indicative of a breeder registered with Dogs Australia (Australia's National body for Pure Bred dogs).
A DACO number is required by council for ANY person who breeds and intends to sell a puppy.
When seeking to purchase a pedigree, pure bred Whippet or Greyhound, it is recommended to request both a DACO and a Dogs Australia registration number from the breeder. If only a DACO registration number is provided, the breeder is likely not registered with Dogs Australia and is not governed by their strict requirements.
